Anthony “Tony” Gonzalez – Director of Construction Operations, Superintendent
Tony Gonzalez is Director of Construction Operations and a superintendent with SiliconX Construction — managing all aspects of new construction and tenant improvements for the general contractor. His responsibilities range from project management including the handling of functions such as estimating, scheduling, drawing up owner contracts, and interfacing with city officials — to acting as construction superintendent providing day-to-day oversight of jobs all the way to final inspection.
Tony joined Borelli Investment Company in 2009 from Valli Construction, where he was a superintendent. Among the many projects he managed for Valli were the $10.5 million construction of the original Club Auto Sport facility, and a major renovation at Borelli’s Junction Office Center office condos. He moved over to SiliconX when Borelli formed its construction affiliate in 2011.
Before joining Valli Construction, Tony was superintendent with a variety of other top construction companies in Northern California, including SC Builders, Wentz Group, and South Bay Construction. While with these contractors, Tony managed a number of notable projects, including a complete interior re-model of three 4-story buildings including three complete kitchens that created the Crittenden Campus for Google, a 3-story $24 million mid-rise facility with 2-story underground parking garage for On Broadway, a 2-story facility for Sobrato Development, a $15 million JSR Microelectronics manufacturing complex, the $5 million Crescent Square retail complex, the Hilton Garden Inn near Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Borelli’s Ringwood Court office condos, and many more.
Tony has lived in Silicon Valley all his life. He is a graduate of James Lick High School and attended UC Davis.
